Hi everybody,You may have heard the terrible news about the Beach race pile up involving Club Member 16 year old Ty Kellett.
Ty is currently in the intensive care unit of Frenchay hospital in Bristol. He had suffered horrific injuries to his leg,spine,kidney,liver and face but more worringly was in a coma due to severe swelling of his brain. Carol and Nibs have been overwhelmed by the support and messages left and text to them,they want everyone to carry on racing and enjoying the fantastic community spirit that our sport has given us.
22nd November
Nibs ,Carol and Myself planned and sorted out a little trip for Ty.
What a result,Ty was feeling well enough to attend a MX presentation evening,where some of his closest friends and best mates would be.
After the trophy giving,we snuck Ty up the stairs to the absolute surprise of the astonished gatherers !
Everyone wanted to see and speak to him but gave the respect he deserved.Ty talked to all of his closest beach race mates (see photo link) and spoke for a good time to Jeff Perrett .
The Kellett family had a great evening

Although i've never meet you i was moved to read the artical in the Western Gazzette 12 th November which was posted to me by my Mum (i emigrated to New Zealand in 2004).My brother (Andy) and i went to school with your Dad and i bumped into him at a meet some time ago Stocklinch near Ilminster.

I was in a bad way for along time but after a lot of help I am nearly back to the point where I feel I will be able to ride again next summer. Good to see you looking so well, I've never seen you all grown up and was over the moon to see you looking good. We'll have to come down and ride Yeovil with you soon as you can pedal again....
I got Manon a crf15o earlier this year, it's a beast, had to lift the clip up to calm it a bit, We're going to have to come down your way for some lessons. She's been winning National Downhill races overall, beating all the elite girls, before she's even junior.
